On 20 February 2018 state secretary for consular affairs and international law, Carolina Perebinos has met with Austrian Ambassador to Republic of Moldova, Christine Freilinger and Austrian Consul to Bucharest, responsible for Republic of Moldova, Martin Thelen.

The officials have exchanged opinions regarding the current bilateral cooperation between Moldova and Austria, a positive dynamic being concluded in the dialogue between the two countries.

Opportunities were debated to intensify bilateral contracts and develop mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
