President of the Supreme Court Mihai Poalelungi has been elected as magistrate at the Constitutional Court by the Superior Council of Magistracy.

Former President of Constitutional Court resigned on January 31.  Mihai Poalelungi, who was the only candidate running for this position will be in power for six year. 

He is to take the oath in the plenary Parliament.

Mihai Poalelungi has been chairman of the Supreme Court of Justice since May 1, 2012.
