Filip's Government has implemented over the past two years important reforms and strengthened relations with European Union. Those actions were appreciated by Deputy Assistant Secretary in the State Department's Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs, Bridget A. Brink, within an interview offered for News Maker portal.
The US official has encouraged Moldova to continue implementing reforms in the justice system, to increase efforts in fighting against corruption and human trafficking, as well as ensure more transparency in public administration.
Within the interview, Brink also spoke of the relations between Chisinau and Tiraspol, as well as of the general elections from this autumn in Moldova. United States expects fair and transparent elections.
US official also declared that in case pro-European parties will win, Washington will continue supporting Republic of Moldova in its European track.
