Electoral commission has unanimously agreed that snap elections will take place in Chisinau and Balti on May 20 2018.

At the end of February, Electoral Comission announced that it is calculating the expenses required for the snap elections from Balti and Chisinau, money that were not foreseen in the state budget.

A month ago, Renato Usatîi resigned as Mayor of Balti, while a few days later, Dorin Chirtoacă has also announced that he is resigning.
