60 young people from Republic of Moldova and Ukraine will receive support in launching their business
60 young people from Republic of Moldova and Ukraine, aged between 18 and 35, will be supported in launching their own innovative enterprises, with a strong social and economic cross-border impact, within the Program for Cross-Border Cooperation Moldova - Ukraine "Joint Opportunities in Business for Youth".
At the program's launch participated General Secretary of State of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, Iulia Costin.
"Republic of Moldova's Government supports promoting young people in business through various policies and strategies, among which counts the National Strategy Moldova 2020 and Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development Strategy for 2012 - 2020. The project launched today will complete the Government's action plan, including that of Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure in supporting young entrepreneurs" Iulia Costin said.
The Cross-Border project "Joint Opportunities in Business for Youth" is financed by European Union and will be implemented within Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM), in partnership with Ukrainian young generation.
"The project we launched today will encourage and support the potential entrepreneurs to initiate and develop the affairs that will support our country. From Moldova-Ukraine point of view, this will offer an unique opportunity for our young people to find themselves and make an experience exchange", said the General State Secretary.
At the same time, Iulia Costin, said that the young entrepreneurs face great problems because of the entrepreneur experience lack and the necessity to develop the planning, launching abilities of managing an affair.
In this sense, the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure in cooperation with ODIMM evolved the Start for the Young program: a long lasting affair in your home country. This project of law will be approved by the Government soon and it will enter into force between 2018 and 2020.
The Joint Opportunities in Busiess for Youth project will take place within 14 months. Within the project, the young from the both sides will be trained and encouraged to participate at Seed Quorums. Also, there will be created a platform for on-line assistance.
