Prime Minister Pavel Filip believes that the over 1 billion lei collected for the National Public Budget is a sign that both companies and citizens have correctly understood the state's attitude change toward them.
The official also declared that those money will be used to support social programs and investment projects.
"The record-breaking amount of money means that both companies and citizens have understood that the state has changed its attitude toward them. It is the result of the economic growth and reforms from the past two years. This stability allowed enterprises to develop and encouraged establishment of new businesses. Policies to eliminate bureaucracy and pressure upon business environment, as well as combating tax evasion has stimulated entrepreneurs to declare their incomes and pay all taxes. Those money will be further used to support social projects and investments. We thank all those who showed social responsibility" Prime Minister Pavel Filip said.
