Two people were hospitalized with injuries after a road accident occurred last night near the village of Slobozia-Chişcăreni, in the district of Sîngerei.

The two were in a wagon and were hit by a truck. The driver, a 49-year-old man, told police that he had not noticed the equipment that was not equipped with reflectors, so he could not avoid the impact. 

All circumstances are being determined. 

According to the National Patrolled National Inspectorate, last year more than 20 accidents involving such means of transport were recorded, killing 3 people and injuring other 24.
