New failure for PSRM. Motion against Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection has fallen
Another failure for the Party of Socialists in Moldova.
The simple motion filed against the Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection has been dropped today due to a lack of quorum.
The Democratic Party and the European People's Party left the meeting room.
The deputies of these parties said they did not want to participate in the speculative and political actions of the socialists.
"This parade of motions is nothing more than a mere repetition, a copy paste from the experience of last year. This happened one year ago. It's a speculative action, political interest, electoral interest, we don't wish to participate in such action. Consequently, we disagree and don't participate in in the examination of this ordinary motion on this ground. Democratic Party will leave this hall", declared the PDM president Marian Lupu.
"I want to announce that socialists or socialist party use two tactics: one is forwarding the simple motions and two is boycotting the meeting", said PPEM Group Chairman Eugen Carpov.
"Dear colleagues, there are 36 deputies in the Chamber. There is no quorum. Based on the decision of the Constitutional Court, the simple motion is considered rejected by a lack of quorum, "said Andrian Candu, Parliament Speaker.
"We consider this boycott is a fear faced by Moldovan people, the mediatization of several social issues," said the PSRM deputy, Vlad Bătrâncea.
"We are sorry that we could not discuss constructively today and come up with some suggestions. Without political partisanship," - says PLDM faction chairman Tudor Deliu.
