First Report presented on progresses registered in Republic of Moldova's European integration
Throughout 2017, the Parliament brought into force 54 projects to match the EU legislation. The data is mentioned in the first report on the progresses registered at the Moldovan Parliament in the process of European integration, presented at the last session of the Committee on Foreign Policy and European Integration.
According to the report, between January 2017 - March 2018, from the 67 registered projects, 54 were brought into force, while 8 have not yet passed and will be finalized by the end of 2018.
Each of the Parliament's committee approved, while the plenary agreed with 90% of the laws that are now examined. Most projects were forwarded by the Economy, Budget and Finance Committee - 22 projects, National Security, Defense and Public Order Committee came with 11 projects, while Legal, Appointments and Immunities Committee with 10 projects.
At the same time, Parliament's committees organized 23 sessions to support European integration.
The report will be sent to the European Parliament, as well as other relevant institutions from EU, aiming to inform both European partners and interested parties, of the progresses registered in Republic of Moldova's European integration. The presented report was elaborated with the support of experts from PNUD Moldova.
