The procedure for obtaining a visa in Moldova for foreign citizens will be simplified.

The Government has today approved a decision in this regard to increase the investment attractiveness of our country and contributing to the improvement of the business environment.

The list of states whose citizens require invitations to complete the visa for entry into Moldova has been revised. Their number was reduced to 38, compared to 85 states in the previous list.

According to the document, now tourists and investors who want to come to Moldova will save time and money for the visa of our country.

"If we want to promote the investment and tourism attractiveness of Moldova, we have to open our country for those who want to visit us," said Prime Minister Pavel Filip, noting that this decision is a first step, and the process of debureaucratisation will be further carried out. 

This decision contributes simultaneously to the improvement of the mechanism for management of migration flows on the territory of Moldova.
