Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Chiril Gaburici declared last evening on Fabrika that in one year, Chisinau Arena will already be able to host sport and cultural events.
"If everything goes according to the plan and all deadlines respected, the walls will already be built. We will go this autumn to film the progress" Minister Chiril Gaburici announced.
The officials spoke of the impact the arena will have upon the economy.
"It will create jobs for people living in Stăuceni. Then there is the infrastructure. The arena will be able to host events, concerts, international events and so on, which leads to tourism" Minister Gaburici explained.
The project was discussed by Minister of Economy and Minister of Education, during a meeting with local artists who will be able to hold concerts in Arena Chisinau. The entertainers did not hesitate to come forward with suggestions.
"The equipment must be good. So that during concerts even the last row will have no issue hearing everything" singer Nicu Ţărnă said.
"Many singers require certain conditions to be met in halls. The room must be modern and have a certain amount of people" singer Alex Calancea said.
