Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, will participate on April 23 - 27 2018, in New York, at the High-Level Meeting on Peacebuilding and Sustaining Peace and United Nations Economic and Social Council Forum.

At the High-Level Meeting's opening ceremony, Minister Tudor Ulianovschi will give a speech stating Republic of Moldova's position on sustainable pace, while as president of UNCTAD, will present a report of the works done by the intergovernmental group of experts on financing for development.

United Nations Economic and Social Council is considered to be among the main global diplomatic events in the field of development cooperation, while according to the mandate, the results of the intergovernmental debates will be taken as recommendations by the High-level Political Forum for the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Forum on Financing for Development will also host a meeting of the ECOSOC High-level Segment, with Bretton Woods, World Bank, World Trade Organization, International Monetary Fund, UNCTAD etc.

In New York, Minister Tudor Ulianovschi will also hold various bilateral meetings with his counterparts from other countries, Secretary-General of the United Nations, President of the United Nations General Assembly, President of ECOSOC and other UN officials.
