Prosecutors are accusing Eduard Rudenco, the lawyer of Veaceslav Platon, and his mistress, for calling in a false bomb threat at Chisinau Court.

The suspect was arrested for 72 hours and prosecutors will following establish if preventive custody is required.

The two risks a fine to 42 500 lei, or 180 to 240 hours of unpaid community service, or even a 2 year sentence.

Publika reminds that a bomb alert raised at the Chisinau Center Court on March 26 turned out to be fake.

Employees working in the institution have returned to their work. Legal people are searching for the individual who alerted the police. 

The phone call was made at around 10:00. 

Immediately, the bomb disposal unit was dispatched. The area was isolated and people evacuated, and all court hearings were postponed.
