Minister Gaburici at Glass Factory: State-owned enterprises shouldn't make less profit than private companies
Economy Minister Chiril Gaburici has paid a working visit to Chisinau Glass Factory to discuss with its management about the activity report of the company, the performance indicators achieved, the arrears, as well as the development plan.
Chiril Gaburici expressed his dissatisfaction with the activity report presented by the Glass Factory, demanding explanations for the last year's revenue from Glass Factory.
"State-owned enterprises must be more profitable than private ones, but the products will cost less than ones of private companies, and this is the mission of management," the minister said.
Also, Chiril Gaburici was also worried about the way the auctions were made at the enterprise.
"What I saw in the report worried me, because not all prices correspond to reality. Therefore, I request an expertise and all products to be indicated with correct prices. These figures need to be presented to me", said the Minister.
Chiril Gaburici reiterated that the company should become a leader in the domestic market and one of the main providers of quality production in the region.
