FOUR YEARS, WITHOUT VISAS IN EU: Moldovans can go to 26 Schengen countries

Over one million four hundred thousand Moldovans traveled to Schengen with biometric passports for four years since the visa regime was liberalized.
Most of them crossed the crossing point of Leuşeni - Albita - over 560 thousand. Another 273 thousand Moldovans left the country through Chisinau International Airport and 256 thousand - through the Cahul - Oancea customs.
According to the European Border Police and Coast Guard Agency, only 0.3 percent of those who wanted to enter the Schengen area received a refusal.
