The tragedy occurred last night, along the M-5, intersection with the secondary road to Pelenia village, Drochia district.

A Volkswagen Touareg model car, owned by the State Protection and Guard Service, led by a 28-year-old man traveling to Riscani, was violently buffed into an evacuation car that was stationed to evacuate other cars.

Following the impact, a 34-year-old passenger died on the spot and four people, aged 28, 30 and 32, employees of the State Protection and Guard Service, were transported to the Balti municipal hospital in serious condition .

It all happened because of the excessive speed.
