President of Moldovan Parliament, Andrian Candu believes that punishments to drivers breaching traffic laws must be made more harsh. The declaration comes after this morning, on Orhei-Bălţi highway, a car crash claimed the life of a 25-year-old man.

"I am sure that relatives were waiting for this young man and other victims to return home... the road claims lives too often.. We must urgently take measures to ensure road safety. In the near future, I will request the Government to make punishments harsher to drivers breaching the traffic law and causing accidents" Andrian Candu said.
