The police has identified the individual who launched the false bomb alert at the Department of Youth Education and Sports in the Botanical District of Chisinau. This is a 48-year-old man, capital of Chisinau.
The individual told law enforcement officials that, along with a 39-year-old friend with criminal antecedents, he wanted to make a joke.
A criminal case was opened on the man. He is liable to a fine of 42,000 lei or up to two years in prison.
