Within an official ceremony at the Presidential Palace, Serghei Mihov presented letters of accreditation as the ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to President of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaitė.

Following the speech, President Grybauskaitė greeted the relations between Republic of Moldova and Lithuania, reiterating Lithuania's willingness to continue offering Republic of Moldova assistance in implementing reforms for the country's European integration.

In his turn, Ambassador Serghei Mihov mentioned the importance of Lithuania's support for Republic of Moldova's European integration and implementation of democratic reforms, in accordance with the RM-EU Association Agreement.

At the end of the meeting, President of Lithuania wished success to Ambassador of Republic of Moldova in his activity throughout his mandate in Lithuania, ensuring full support from Lithuanian authorities.

Ambassador Serghei Mihov also had a courtesy call with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania.
