The Government has approved today the candidacy of PDM vice-president, Cristina Balan, as Republic of Moldova Ambassador to the US.

It will following be forwarded to President of Republic of Moldova, Igor Dodon, who will sign a declaration for this purpose.

During PDM's weekly meeting from May 8, 2018, Cristina Balan was selected to occupy the position of Republic of Moldova Ambassador to the US. Leaders of PDM backed the decision, all parliamentary and governmental procedures being followed.

Cristina Balan is the vice-president of PDM, being responsible of managing PDM's foreign affairs. She is also the president of Foundation for a Modern Democracy (FMD).
