Tudor Ulianovschi: Bilateral relations between Moldova and Pakistan have a great deal of untapped potential
Making relations more dynamic in all field of common interest, as well as intensify multilateral cooperation were among the subjects discussed between Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi and Islamic Republic of Pakistan Ambassador, Safdar Hayat.
Minister Ulianovschi appreciated the good relations between the two countries, urging for their development:
"Our bilateral relations have a great deal of untapped potential, I speak of both economy, as well as other cooperation sectors. I am sure that relation between Moldova and Pakistan can ensure growth of bilateral trade and can contribute to intensification of collaboration is fields such as agriculture, pharmaceutics, textile industry and other areas of common interest."
"The results registered at the Moldova-Pakistan economic forum, which took place in Chisinau last year, made us believe in the collaboration opportunities between businessmen from the two states" Minister Ulianovschi declared.
The officials also highlighted that developing a political dialogues at all levels, including by organizing at Islamabad the two consultative rounds of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, would be a good occasion to launch new projects of bilateral cooperation.
Speaking of other aspects of the bilateral relations, was mentioned the interest to extending the bilateral juridical framework, by intensifying bilateral projects between various fields of common interest.
Republic of Moldova and Pakistan established diplomatic relations on February 16, 1992.
