A construction company from Chisinau was searched today by PCCOCS and INI officers. According to the information, the company's administration is suspected of 8 million lei tax evasion.

It resulted in three people, aged between 31 and 40, being arrested.

Investigations have revealed that the company's administration have included wrong information regarding their revenues and expenses in their income declarations, while working as entrepreneurs between 2016-2017, as well as the VAT from 2016 to present time. The suspects were also paying employees off the records, avoiding therefore taxes.

On May 14, multiple searches were performed at the houses and offices of implicated people, being discovered notes regarding the employees' salaries, money received from people who purchased apartments and the real costs of the construction works.

Another case is open on their names for offering bad quality repair works.

If found guilty, they risk to spend the next 6 years behind bars, or pay a fine from 167 500 to 267 500 lei.
