Minister Tudor Ulianovschi will participate at Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe meeting
Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Tudor Ulianovschi, will participate on May 17-18, at the 128th edition of 128th meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe, that takes place in Helsingør, Denmark.
During the meeting issues on the state of democracy, human rights and the rule of law will be discussed, as well as the challenges EU member states and the Organization face. Minister Tudor Ulianovschi will present the latest developments from Republic of Moldova at the chapter of human rights and rule of law, encouraging the attention of European Council upon the breach of human rights in Transnistria, especially the situations of the schools that teach using the Latin alphabet.
The agenda of the Moldovan official also includes bilateral meetings with Secretary General of the Council of Europe, Thorbjørn Jagland, his counterparts from Norway, Croatia, Cyprus etc.
At the end, Minister Tudor Ulianovschi will participate at the ceremony of Croatia taking over the Presidency of the CoE Committee of Ministers, held by Denmark in the past six months.
