Andrian Candu: Vote if you want clean, modern city. Elections at ballot boxes not home
Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu voiced his vote. The official has urged the Capital residents to cast their votes.
"I would like to encourage everybody to come and exercise their rights to vote. Elections are not made at home but ballot boxes. If we want a clean, modern, civilized city, each of us has use rights to vote".
I vote for a candidate who, in my opinion, has the possibility to build a modern, clean city. We want Chisinau to his beautiful fame, "Andrian Candu said.
PUBLIKA.MD reminds more than 630,000 Chisinau inhabitants are expected to cast their votes for the mayor. The same number of 32-cm vote tickets are printed. The vote takes place until 21:00.
For the elections to be considered valid, at least 25 percent of the number of people entered on the electoral roll must be at the polls.
If none of the 11 candidates accumulate at least half of the voters' votes, in two weeks, on June 3, the second round will take place.
