Maia Sandu requests election cancellation in Jora de Mijloc as ȘOR spent 295,000 lei in election
The leader of the Action and Solidarity Party, Maia Sandu, asks the Orhei Court to cancel the results of the elections in Jora de Mijloc. In a post on a social network, she is displeased with the fact that the party ȘOR has spent almost 295,000 lei for the polls, three times more than the law says.
In reply, the mayor of the village, Marina Tauber, says the PAS leader's information does not correspond to the truth.
"I did not make violation as ȘOR candidate in the election. I don't understand and don't know the information source of Sandu", said Marina Tauber.
Maia Sandu also wrote that on the day of the election, some voters were brought to the sections and paid to vote. PAS did not have an electoral competitor in Jora de Mijloc. Three candidates fought for the mayor's office.
The exponent of the ȘOR party, Marina Tauber, won the vote with just over 61 percent of the votes. PDM candidate has accumulated over 38 percent, and PSRM - less than one percent.
