Regional training in standardization for first time in Chisinau,
The start of regional standardization training - ISO regional training on managing national standard development projects and programs. The event is being held for the first time in Chisinau from 29 May to 1 June.
Present at the opening event, Secretary of State for Quality Infrastructure and International Cooperation of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, Iuliana Drăgălin, emphasized the importance of the continuous development of the sector of standardization and the maintenance of cooperation relations between the standardization institutions in different countries.
"Over the last years, the national infrastructure of the Republic of Moldova has evolved significantly, all reforms and alignments taking place in accordance with international and European principles and practices.At the same time, being in the process of change, the entities in the quality infrastructure felt the need for a permanent exchange of experience and communication with experts in the field. The Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure has always come up with initiatives to transpose European legislation, ensure institutional coherence and stimulate business environment capacities to align with new market requirements, including in the context of the DCFTA Agreement, encourage the signing of various agreements that have a direct impact on quality," said Iuliana Dragălin.
The training is organized by the Moldovan Institute of Standardization, under the aegis of ISO, and brings together representatives of standardization bodies from 13 countries in Central Asia, Central and Eastern Europe. Within four days, participants will be trained in the implementation and management of information tools for drafting national standards and national standardization programs.
