Local election, second round: Candidates running for Mayor came to polling stations
Chisinau residents are voting for a Mayor who will solve city's problems, a official who will serve the citizens. Two candidates for Mayor position, Andrei Năstase and Ion Ceban came to polling stations and cast their votes, too.
PPDA candidate Andrei Năstase came to vote with his wife and daughter today. He said he voted for a mayor with a clear vision and urged citizens to actively participate in the polls.
"I came to the vote because it is the responsibility of ours, of all people in this city and in this country. I voted with great confidence. I voted for a better future for our country, "said Andrei Năstase, PPDA candidate.
Andrei Nastase's wife says she voted for a European city.
"Let's give this city a chance. Let's clean streets. Let's do our best for our city, for us", said Angela Năstase, the wife of PPDA candidate, Andrei Năstase.
PSRM candidate for the Chisinau Mayor, Ion Ceban, came to the polling station with his wife and children after he first went to the church.
"People think of what is really important for the city, the sewerage, the aqueduct, the public transport, and the administration. I sincerely want everyone who goes to vote today to choose a future Mayor to deal with these things, not ideologies, "said Ion Ceban, PSRM candidate.
Ion Ceban's wife said she was proud of her husband.
"We voted for this city to be better, more beautiful. I voted for the most professional man and I hope he will succeed in doing the best for this city," said Tatiana Ceban, wife of the candidate PSRM, Ion Ceban.
The inhabitants of the Capital may exercise their right to vote until 21:00 when polling stations are closed.
