A new route Chișinău - Minsk was launched at North Bus Station. The route taking travelers straight to Belarus came after multiple requested of the passengers.

Many claim that they used to waste much time on the road, due to the routes being with transfers.

"A route going Chișinău - Minsk is more comfortable and convenient, easier for travelers."

"Reaching Minsk from Chisinau was nearly impossible. You had to take a bus to Odessa and then take the plane" executive director of North Bus Station, Liubovi Lagovskaia said.

"We hope this route will bring profit" route administrator, Vadim Popa said.

The initiative to relaunch the route belongs to Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure, in collaboration with the Embassy of Belarus.

"I believe the benefits of this route will be felt both by the passengers, as well as business people and tourists. It will help develop the economy" Belarus Ambassador to Republic of Moldova, Serghei Ciciuc said.

"We have a strong economic collaboration, at the same time we are negotiating for the liberalization of road freight transport" secretary of state of Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, Serghei Ciciuc declared.

The route Chișinău - Minsk will leave each Tuesday and Friday, at 17:30, the price of a ticket starts from 1 200 lei.
