Multiple districts were affected by the rains from the weekend. Firefighters were called to help in Tocuz and Ucrainca, Căușeni district, where the weather caused damages.

In Ucrainca settlement, the rain ruined four bridges, including the one leading to Tocuz village. Firefighters and Căușeni Roads employees have managed to restore the access between the two settlements.

At the same time, the heavy rain caused water levels to rise in the region. According to IGSU, on the morning on June 18, the water level near Tocuz and Ucrainca settlements dropped, the threat of floods being excluded.

Firefighters were also called in Florești and Ungheni, where the water flooded several households.

Commissions are working in the region to establish the damages caused by the heavy rain.
