Economic cooperation Moldova - USA tabled in Washington
Economic cooperation between Moldova - USA has been discussed in Washington today.
The meeting was attended by Washington's accredited ambassador to Washington, Cristina Balan, with Deputy Assistant Secretary of Commerce of the US, David S. De Falco.
In the dialogue, Cristina Balan presented the developments and priorities of the Government of Moldova in the commercial-economic field and the investment opportunities in various sectors of the national economy.
David S. De Falco, in turn, commented on the US opening for the development of trade-economic relations and the activation of the working group on the economic dimension in the format of the US-US Strategic Dialogue.
The interlocutors agreed to continue the dialogue to strengthen economic cooperation, including by providing assistance in improving the economic legal framework, informing US businessmen about investment opportunities in the Republic of Moldova, exchanging bilateral visits, and organizing different economic events in both countries.
