Ministry of Internal Affairs employees will receive compensations for rent and service apartments
Compensations for rent and service apartments offered to the staff of the Ministry of Internal Affairs will attract new employees. This is the opinion of the representatives of the General Police Inspectorate.
The beneficiaries were happy by the news. A couple working for the National Patrol Inspectorate have been renting for two years now a modest apartment, due to their modest earnings.
"We do not live alone. Another person lives in the neighbor room" Eugenia Burduja said.
"- Do you not afford to rent an apartment just for the two of you?
- No, it is very expensive. We need to use a salary for rent only."
Each moth, the bill and utilities cost over 2 200 lei, half of their salaries. The young couple claims that they cannot save up money to purchase a house.
"This compensation will help us cover rent expenses. We will also have the chance to save some money and purchase in the future our own apartment" Eugenia Burduja said.
According to the regulation, MIA employees with military grades, who do not own their won apartment, will receive compensations for rent. Head of IGP, Alexandru Pânzari, claims that the money offered by the state will stop people from resigning.
"Many say: "If I had money to cover rent expenses, then I would have worked". I am also happy that this project was approved and things will improve" Alexandru Pânzari said.
The Government also decided that over a thousand Ministry of Internal Affairs employees will receive in the next two years service apartments. The first three hundreds beneficiaries will be able to move in three months.
"This is good especially for young police officers, who do not have their own apartments" INP inspector, Lilian Tabuica said.
"We will be able to save up money to purchase our own apartment" INP inspector, Dorin Negură said.
It is believed that the facilities offered by the executive will bring many benefits to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
"It motivates the employee, to input maximum efforts, as the service apartments will only be available while they are employed" SindLex Secretary-General, Angela Otean said.
Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated three public-private partnerships to build the apartments. The building will be located on Gheorghe Asachi, Grenoble and Testemițanu streets from Chisinau.
