A 29-year-old man in the capital was murdered by his friend.

According to the police, the victim, along with the alleged murderer and another individual, used alcohol in the courtyard of a block on Vasile Lupu Street in the Buiucani District.

Quarrel started and one of them stabbed the 29-year-old with a knife in abdomen.

After realizing what he did, the aggressor, helped by his friend, carried the victim by a taxi to the Emergency Hospital.

The doctors immediately underwent surgery, but the young man could not be rescued.

The suspect, aged 23, was detained for 72 hours. If found guilty, he risks up to 10 years in prison.
