Vice-president of Buiucani sentenced for corruption
The vice-president of Buiucani sector, investigated criminally by anti-corruption prosecutors and NCA officers in a corruption file, has been sentenced.
He has to pay a fine of 60,000 lei and is deprived of the right to hold public functions for a period of three years.
According to the denouncer, the deputy claimed to have influence on some public figures in Buiucani authorities to install a metal fence to isolate the private property of the economic agent from the public road.
After the agent paid half of extortion, refusing to give any more money, the clerk threatened to cause problems, eventually indicating that the metal fence had been demolished.
The official does not recognize his blame. Today, the court found him guilty of committing the offense of trafficking, establishing a fine of 60,000 lei with the deprivation of the right to hold public office for three years.
The sentence is entitled to appeal to the Chisinau Court of Appeal within 15 days.
