Pavel Filip cast his vote: I elected PDM team who proved to govern a country by actions
Elections and referendum are set off! Moldovan people are called to decide future for the next four years.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip has voted. He said he elected PDM team who demonstrated by facts that they can govern a country.
"We heard many new things. Manipulation and rumors exited. I heard new things about us and me. But facts exit beyond these rumors, gossip. Neither can people in the opposition debunk the fact that our people receive higher salaries. I voted for PDM team who demonstrated the fact that they're capable of governing a country and we achieved good results in short period. I voted for our colleagues in our team, Mr Veaceslav Nedelea - a person who can represent this constituency with dignity in the Parliament, "Pavel Filip mentioned.
For the first time, the elections take place on the basis of the mixed voting system. Pavel Filip said the new procedure is a simple one.
"The new voting procedure was a simple one, it did not take more time as many people said, I'm sure the citizens will be able to handle it, I believe in the future of the Republic of Moldova, I am not afraid of the future of this country because we have a wise people which can make the difference between words and actions," Pavel Filip pointed out.
PUBLIKA.MD 14 political parties and an electoral bloc entered the race for the parliamentary elections in the national constituency.
325 electoral contestants are fighting for the seats of deputies in the 51 uninominal constituencies. 269 are supported by parties, and 56 are independent. They may be elected only by voters who have their domicile in the uninominal constituency in which they compete. Each one will be elected.
In the country, 48 constituencies were established. Three others were created abroad: one in the East, one in the West, and another in the United States and Canada. In the last two are also registered the most competitors - 13 candidates.
