The old man killing his 5-month-old grandchild in Teleneşti has been prosecuted jail of 10 years. 

Tragedy occurred in Brânzenii-Noi village, Teleneşti district. Daughter of the defendant left her child at home for grandparents'care and came to work. 

However, few hours later, the man killed his granddaughter sleeping in stroller. 

The defendant, aged 66, partially admitted his guilt.

He is due to pay more than 38,000 lei on the state's account.

The sentence is entitled to appeal under the law.
