Six people including a woman aged between 40-50 were sentenced to 8 years in jail for cultivation, distribution, storage drugs with large proportions. 

Members of the group turned their apartments in Cahul into laboratories to plant hemp, install modern machine that enabled Cannabis plants to grow quickly.

As a result of searches, police collected tools designed for cultivation of marijuana, device made for drug use, green plants and crushed marijuana vegetation that they intended to sell at 7000 lei per 100 grams. 

They have the right to appeal to the sentence within 15 days.
