The government has decided to increase the allowance after withdrawing from sport. The decision was announced in a press release of the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Thus, 50 000 thousand lei will be given for withdrawing activities of sportsmen and coaches with remarkable results obtained in the field of sports, including the international arena, as well as special actions and jubilee anniversaries.

This change was implemented in the Government Decision no.1552 / 2002 for the approval of the Financial Norms for Sporting Activity.
