A bust dedicated to the great poet Dumitru Matcovschi will be constructed on Classical Alley in Chisinau. The Government has decided Wednesday. 

Accordingly, Chisinau municipality will cover budget of its expenses. 

Over the years, Dumitru Matcovschi has edited over 50 volumes including poetry, prose, drama, in Russian, French and Lithuanian. His works have been performed on the stage theaters in the country and his poems were turned into musical notes by composers Eugen Doga and Ion Aldea-Teodorovici.

Also at today's meeting, the Government approved the commemorative plaque in memory of director Victor Bucătaru. It will be installed in front of the director's house.
