Moldovan people are moving to clean graves ahead Paștile Blajinilor. Administrators of major Chisinau cemeteries say trash in area is picked up daily. 

Some complaints, however, are voiced about the fact that their flowers on graves are stolen usually. 

"We will paint again this grave. We place lot of flowers and hope that they are not stolen anymore", said a local.

Artificial flowers are also demanded besides the real ones. 

"Lots of people love this kind of flower. We have various prices from 10 lei, 20 lei, 25 lei", said a vendor.

Day of Rejoicing (in Romanian Paștile Blajinilor) in the Orthodox Church is a commemoration of the departed observed on the second Tuesday of Pascha (Easter) or, in some places on the second Monday of Pascha.

Paștile Blajinilor is celebrated this year on May 5-6.
