The head of the Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office Viorel Morari has resigned, confirmed by General Prosecutor's Office. 

Viorel Morari has not yet commented on the decision.

The Superior Council of Prosecutors appointed Viorel Morari as Chief Prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office on April 22, 2016.

He was designated after wining with highest score in the state competition.
