Moldovans are eating more ice-cream. This fact is demonstrated by the National Bureau of Statistics according to which in the last year were produced about 17,5 000 tons of ice-cream, with 500 tons more than in 2017. In Ialoveni ice-cream factory, daily are made over 1 million ice-creams, which means 55 tons. In the summer, the company is working non-stop to face the coming local and abroad orders.

"In the summer the orders are much more than in the other seasons. At least 2/3 of what we produce is exported. One million units per day is minimum of what we can produce", declared the commercial director, Denis Bumaco.

From the moment when the consumption is rising, the factories try to surprise their clients with new products.

"We brought new and more sophisticated flavors. We tried to combine berries with mango flavor, pistachio and chocolate, bananas and chocolate, coconut flavor", said Denis Bumaco.

During the filming process, we surprised a group of kids that visited the ice-cream factory to see the full process of ice-cream producing.

"Look at this beauty".

"My favorite is the ice-cream cone with berries".

"I like the white glaze, with chocolate and fruits".

Adults were interested in the producing process too".

"We are buying ice-cream very often and are serving it as a dessert".
