President Igor Dodon acknowledges that his brother has business connections with the son of the Russian Prosecutor General, Igor Ciaika. The statement was made by the head of state on a private television station.
However, Dodon did not specify what his brother is dealing with. The country's president also mentioned that his brother-in-law has been living in the Russian Federation for more than 15 years.
"His children are studying in the Russian Federation, and he worked in a company that had connections with China along with Igor Ciaika. That's all what I know, I think he's involved in another project and I do not see anything serious about it. If possible to work there, just work".
Previously, the Russian press reported that the younger brother of President Igor Dodon became a shareholder and co-owner of the construction company founded by the son of Russian General Prosecutor Igor Ciaika.
Precisely, Alexandru Dodon holds 15 percent of the company's shares. Igor Ciaika has shown interest in developing virtual currency business in the Transnistrian region as well. He mentioned that the territory on the left bank of the Dniester has all the conditions for such a business.
