The General Prosecutor's Office refuses to initiate a criminal prosecution for the usurpation of state power by the current government, referring to the non-observance of procedural elements.

The Democratic Party considers that, in fact, the decision of the General Prosecutor's Office is politically influenced by the PSRM-ACUM government, and the proof is that they have previously agreed to start a criminal prosecution on a subject similar to the insistence of the politician Andrei Nastase.

We recall that, recently, the PDM deputies filed a criminal complaint in which they asked the General Prosecutor's Office to start the criminal prosecution on the usurpation of state power by President Igor Dodon, Maia Sandu, Andrei Nastase, members of the Sandu Government and members of the parliamentary majority.

According to the denunciation of the deputies, between 8 and 15 June, without having any constitutional and legitimate rights, the mentioned citizens took over the state power, although a series of judgments of the Constitutional Court showed the illegal character of these actions.
