Deputy Octavian Ţîcu quits the alliance ACUM and will run for the post of Chisinau Mayor, Ţîcu announces in a press conference. 

As a man, a scholar and a citizen of Chisinau, I impossibly allows Socialist Ion Ceban to take over the Chisinau City Hall, the politician declares. 

Meanwhile, the former ACUM deputy delivered a message to Andrei Nastase. 

"I call on my friend and colleague Nastase, who wants to become a candidate tomorrow: Andrei, I supported you last year, I think that you should remain in the Interior Ministry and offer a chance to win Socialist in this fight".
