The Minister of Justice acknowledges that some prosecutors are forced to participate in the investigation of the resonance cases. The statement was made by Olesea Stamate in a program on a private television station.
- Journalist: Do you notice that some of the prosecutors have been very active over the last few months, including being part of processes such as arrests?
- Minister of Justice Stamate: They are forced to do so by public pressure, they are pressured, not physically forced. They are not told to do this unless you have a criminal case. It does not work like this.
When asked if theses prosecutors are trying to off the hook, Stamate said in this way, they are demonstrating that they fulfill their duty.
