Igor Dodon awarded Russian official Grigory Karasin with Moldova's Order of Honor
The head of state handed the Order of Honor over to Grigory Karasin, the Russian First Deputy Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture. The president's decree was published today in the Official Gazette.
According to the document, the Russian official is decorated for the substantial contribution to the consolidation and extension of the interstate relations of friendship and collaboration.
Recently, the head of state also awarded Federica Mogherini, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, the Order of Honor.
PUBLIKA.MD recalls the Order of Honor is awarded for substantial contribution to strengthening the statehood and promoting reforms and democratic transformations and for special merits in developing relations of friendship and cooperation between Moldova and other states.
