According to exit poll, the Socialist candidate Ion Ceban picked up 37.10% of the votes, and the candidate of the bloc ACUM Andrei Nastase obtained 37%.

The survey announced that 25.9% of the respondents refused to answer questions and acknowledged that this exit poll failed.

IMAS and FOP-STAR, at the request of POLIEXPERT conducted the poll throughout the day in 67 polling stations in Chisinau and in the suburbs, 164 operators accredited by CEC collected information from voters, who exercised their right to vote .

The second round of local elections took place on Sunday, November 3, in the 384 localities of Moldova, where no candidate for mayor had obtained more than half of the valid votes.

The voting procedure started at 07:00 and ended at 21:00.
