Moldovan citizens had visa-free or visa on arrival access to 120 countries and territories, ranking the Moldovan passport 49th in terms of travel freedom according to the Henley Passport Index.

While the Global Passport Power Rank 2020 places Moldova on 43rd position. 

According to the 2020 Henley Visa Restrictions Index, Romanian citizens can visit 172 countries without a visa or with a visa granted on arrival.

Romanian passport is ranked 8th in the Passport Power Rank 2020. 

Japanese has the most powerful passport, shows the Henley Passport Index, with visa-free access to 191 destinations.
