A 61-year-old woman in Chisinau shot herself in an apparent suicide attempt. The tragedy happened today at around 4:30 pm.

Police said she committed with her legal gun in her own apartment. A suicide note was also found at the scene.

The victim suffered from an incurable disease.

All the circumstances are being determined.
