Central Market remains closed in period of emergency

The Central Market and all the commercial spaces on Mitropolit Varlam st. 63 remain closed during the period of emergency which ends on May 15. This period can be extended after this date. The provision was signed by Chisinau Mayor Ion Ceban.
According to the previous provision, the activity of the Central Market was suspended from March 16 until April 1.
In the provision it is mentioned that these are measures to prevent and reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus on the territory of Chisinau markets.
Moldova's Parliament voted to impose a state of emergency in a bid to prevent the spread of the coronavirus between March 17 and May 15.
